Either route reaches the same two people. The form is easiest for planned work, because you can describe the property once and attach it to a request we can look at properly before we call you back. The phone is better for anything urgent — a limb down, a line under load, water where it should not be.

What helps us quote accurately

None of this is required, but the more of it we have up front, the closer a first estimate lands to the final number and the fewer visits it takes to get there.

• Which town the property is in. Access, drive time and, for tree work near a street, whether a permit is involved all change by location.
• Roughly what and how much. Two trees or twenty, a back yard or five acres, a repair or a new installation. An approximate answer is fine.
• What is near the work. Power lines, outbuildings, fences, septic, a well, irrigation lines, or a driveway we would need to bring equipment across.
• Whether anything is urgent. A hanging limb or a leaning tree over a structure is triaged differently from a project you are planning for next spring.
• Photos, if you have them. Mention it in the message and we will follow up with somewhere to send them. A photo of a tree from two angles usually answers more questions than a paragraph.

What happens next

We get back to every request within 48 hours. For most work we will want to walk the property before quoting — estimates are free and there is no obligation attached to one. Straightforward jobs can sometimes be quoted from photographs and a description. If what you are asking about is not something we do, we will say so rather than take the job.
